Established in May 2009, the St Donats Atlantic Chorale is a mixed choir of some 50 voices who share the love of music, the joy of singing and the pleasure of good company. Based in St Donats Arts Centre near Llantwit Major in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan, the choir has gone from strength to strength.
In addition to performing at St Donats Arts Centre– the choir has appeared at the Wales Millennium Centre and Bath Abbey. The St Donats Atlantic Chorale undertook its first overseas tour, visiting Norway in the Summer of 2014.
Singers and audiences can expect a wide repertoire of both well known and less familiar music in a variety of styles and newcomers of all ages with an interest in singing are welcome.
The choir has preformed major works, including Messiah, Creation, Vivaldi's Gloris and the Fauré Requiem, but it also has a wide repertoire of smaller pieces ranging from folksongs and madrigals all the way through to musicals and pop songs.
We rehearse on Monday evenings in the magnificient glass room at the St Donats Arts Centre.
New members are always welcome. There are no auditions so why not come along and give it a try.

Helping hands needed
The choir relies heavily on members and audiences to provide the funds necessary to develop and perform a wide-ranging repertoire to suit all tastes.
We are extremely grateful for the in-kind support received from St Donats Art Centre, but are always looking for new ways to sustain our on-going commitment to the development of our open ’no audition needed’ community choir .
Can you help? Whether you are a lover of music, or a local employer / business with a desire to support community-based activities – we’d love to hear from you.
To pledge your support either direct or in-kind – please contact Graham Price on email@example.com and we can discuss the mutual benefits of supporting community-based cultural activities.
